Nutrition, Mental and Emotional Health and Physical Development
Meals are prepared in-house by our experienced chef and feature a culturally diverse list of delectable food for children to enjoy.
We cater for religious beliefs, personal choices and medically specified diets, including vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free diets.
We use the Australian Dietary Guidelines and recommendations from Nutrition Australia to inform our menu choices. We provide morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for children using full day bookings at the service.
MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL WELLBEING
Mindfulness - Our in-house yoga and meditation programs provide children with the opportunity to learn how to be mindful, build emotional resilience and take responsibility for their own health and wellbeing as appropriate for their age and developmental stages.
Nature and Sensory - Being outdoors, interacting with nature is immensely beneficial to a child's mental and physical wellbeing. Our play spaces are designed to encourage children to observe nature, explore and discover its many aspects and develop a respectful and reciprocal relationship with their natural environment.
Physical Development - Children need to be active and engage in a range of experiences aimed at developing their gross motor skills, balance and spatial orientation. Our daily programs plan for and implement various activities with children's physical wellbeing in mind.
Movement Studio - Dance, climb and jump, just move - this is what happens in our outdoor Movement Studio. We have various programs in place for different age groups, from performing arts to physical exercise, with the objective of improving both mental and physical health through fun and games.
